Get Free Windows 10 Security Updates!
Great news for Windows 10 users! Microsoft is now providing Extended Security Updates (ESU) for free, even after the official support period ends. While this program previously cost $30, you can now receive critical security updates at no charge.

Microsoft is offering free ways for users to receive Extended Security Updates (ESU) for Windows 10, even after its official support ends on October 14. Initially, there was a $30 fee for the ESU program.

Now, users have two options to get these updates for free:

Redeem 1,000 points from the Microsoft Rewards program.

Sign up by using “Windows Backup” with Microsoft OneDrive

An enrollment wizard will be available starting in July and expanding in mid-August to help users choose their preferred method. It’s important to note that the ESU program only provides critical security updates and will not include new features, non-security updates, or technical support. This change comes after the unpopular decision to end Windows 10 support, especially since many older PCs cannot upgrade to Windows 11 due to strict hardware requirements.

Contact BlueChip Computers if you need help setting these up. 520-514-1024
