Chick-fil-A confirms accounts hacked

On March 2, 2023, it was reported that Chick-fil-A, in the United States, has confirmed that some of its customers’ accounts were hacked in a months-long automated attack using the credential stuffing method. The attack occurred earlier between December 18th, 2022, and February 12th, 2023, and the company is urging affected customers to change their passwords and promising to refund any fraudulent activity. Chick-fil-A is also taking measures to enhance its security and prevent future attacks.
