Contact form Phishing Scam to look out for

I received this from my contact form which is a scam. Do not click on the links in emails unless you are 100 percent certain they are legit. A couple of things I noticed right away were the domain is not a proper URL, it had no .com or other suffix, the email is from a Hotmail account, and they try to get you to click on a link to a document which actually turned out to be a bad link. I copied the original link to a different computer which is locked down and the link goes nowhere. After clicking on the link it just goes to a page that says “Not Found, The requested URL was not found on the server”. Nothing was downloaded and my scanners did not pick up anything. I scanned the system with several different virus scanners and malware scanners and nothing was found just in case. I removed most of the bad links in case it becomes live in the future.

Here are links to articles on Topic News and Insercorp about this scam.
