DuckDuckGo has launched DuckAssist AI
March 8, 2023
DuckDuckGo has launched a new feature called DuckAssist that uses AI to create brief summaries that respond to users’ search queries. It is in the beta stage and can only handle a few queries, such as “who is Elvis?” or “what is crypto currency?”. It employs natural language processing and machine learning to generate summaries from various sources, such as Wikipedia, Britannica, and other reliable websites. DuckDuckGo claims that DuckAssist protects users’ privacy and does not gather or share any personal data. DuckDuckGo also expects that DuckAssist will help users find answers more quickly and easily without having to visit multiple links.
